You will independently manage a highly complex international project that deploys state-of-the-art rail electrification technology to help operate railways efficiently and reliably and thus personally contribute to sustainable transportation.Within the scope of the project (with up to high 3-digit million euros value), you will lead a large international team.You will be located within the customer’s country (onshore) throughout the project execution.You will be responsible for commercial success and customer satisfaction by ensuring that the project is completed on time, with an ambitioned profitability and to the required quality.To this end, you will lead your project team, set up efficient project structures (project planning) and manage the complex project execution towards the customer with a globally distributed team.You will coordinate all internal organizational units and manage all stakeholders incl. higher management of the customer, authorities, national and international consortium partners, and subcontractors.Together with the commercial project management, you will proactively pursue goals/milestones, and ensure an entrepreneurial opportunity and risk management.With your excellent communication skills and meaningful reports, you create transparency for customers as well as our top management.What do you bring along? The basis of your career is a university degree (diploma / master) in electrical engineering, civil engineering or similar.In addition, you have many years of professional experience in management of complex projects.You are characterized by an infrastructure project background and/or knowledge of railway or electrification systems.You can demonstrate your project management expertise with relevant certifications such as PM@Siemens PDIR level or IPMA A-Level.Because you operate on a highly international level, you have a very good command of the English language, extensive intercultural experience, and are willing to travel (approx. 25%).What do we offer you?
