Munich Re’s Group Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Office is a key function to enable the effective and consistent Group-wide management of non-financial risks (including operational risks, information security risks, third party risks and business continuity risks). An evolving cyber threat landscape, emerging technologies such as AI, and increasing regulatory attention at a global level are some of the challenges facing non-financial risk (NFR) management. The Group NFR Office supports the Group CISO / Head of Non-Financial Risk Management of Munich Re and their global community of experts in meeting these challenges as central coordinating function. Our team acts as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, oversees the Group-wide implementation of centrally developed NFR frameworks and monitors global compliance. We advise senior management in matters of non-financial risk management by providing expert opinions on risks and meaningful reporting in close cooperation with subject matter experts. To complement our team in Munich, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. You will play an active role in shaping Munich Re’s non-financial risk management with a varied field of activities in an international business environment.YOUR JOBCoordinating inquiries from internal and external stakeholders such as senior management or regulatory authorities Preparing presentations and decision documents for senior management in cooperation with subject matter expertsPreparing, coordinating and facilitating risk committees of Munich Re GroupManage the cyber and non-financial risk project portfolio by identifying demand, supporting ongoing prioritization and monitoring implementation in collaboration with IT organizationSupporting non-financial risk and information security related projects and task forcesTracking and mitigating known deficiencies and audit findingsSupporting assessments of significant (cyber) risks Monitoring and evaluating non-financial risk and information security related technological trends, threats and regulationsCollaborating with broad range of internal stakeholders, such as global risk management teams, IT, Audit, Compliance, business unitsYOUR PROFILEUniversity degree, preferable in a technical subject or in economics Professional experience, ideally in risk management, information security or related fields and motivation to deepen required know-howProject management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work packages and stakeholders simultaneouslyExcellent communication and facilitation skillsHighly developed analytical and conceptual skills allied to the ability to present complex issues in a clear and understandable wayStrong pro-active, hands-on attitude and willingness to deal with complex issuesStrong perseverance, ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks accordinglyTeam player with the motivation to work in an international environmentStrong written and verbal communication in German and EnglishApplication InstructionsPlease apply through our online portal and upload your CV, as well as your academic reference letters, including school certificates, graduation certificates and transcripts of record for any degrees.
