A global leader in the contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) industry is looking for a Business Manager / Sales & Client Manager. Our client specializes in manufacturing pharmaceutical and healthcare products aimed at improving health and well-being.
What are your tasks?
* Represent the interests of clients while optimizing the financial performance of the site. You will negotiate prices and contracts with clients.
* Collaborate closely with the site’s Managing Director to manage client relationships in line with company policies and client agreements.
* Be a part of the site leadership team, working closely with other departments and acting as a liaison for group-level activities and Sales & Client Managers from other locations.
* Ensure timely, accurate communication and address all client queries promptly.
* Collaborate with the Business Development team to contribute to new business acquisitions for the site.
What do you need?
* A university degree in sciences or economics.
* 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in positions with a comparable scope of responsibilities.
* Proven experience in leading B2B price and contract negotiations for customized products and services.
* Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.
Knowledge and skills:
* In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and outsourcing processes.
* Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.
* Project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, including experience in communication with senior management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
