This role is located in Frankfurt- hybrid (4 days from the office, 1 day from home). In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Directing a team that is responsible for providing SPV administration services to a major real estate client. Designing and improving processes for ensuring that timely monthly reporting, annual audits and valuations of the entities are provided to the client on time and in high quality.Managing relationships with client representatives and other stakeholders. Communicating with clients on complex issues.Evaluating German investment law and regulations to determine impact of new regulations on BNY Operations’ practices.Training of junior team members, guiding them in solving complex issues. Covering for the Head of SPV Operations during absences and on other occasions.Seeking opportunities for improving processes and service delivery.To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 5 years+ experience in real estate-related SPV operations or fund accounting. Applicants with an external audit background are also very welcome.Team management experience would be an advantage.Track record of operational excellence.Extensive knowledge of real estate accounting and legal entity requirements.Strong communication skills, able to communicate professionally and lead discussions with important clients.Highly proactive team player, who is willing to work across silos and to consider downstream impacts of their tasks.Good command of German language, sufficient to articulate complex topics.Ability to drive change and complex operational process enhancements.Project management experience an advantage.Experience with Yardi accounting platforms an advantage.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
