At our German location in Tuttlingen (Aesculap AG) we are looking for an intern to support the Digital Surgery team for the summer semester of 2025.
Duties and responsibilities
* You collaborate with the development team to design and build an immersive OSS Safety Application
* You work with game engine tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) to create realistic scenarios and simulations
* You assist in integrating 3D models and animations to enhance the application's interactive elements
* You participate in testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the application
* You support the documentation of the development process and provide input for future improvements
Professional competencies
* You study Computer Science, Game Development, Digital Media, or a related field
* You have basic experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar)
* You are familiar with with 3D modeling, animations, or simulation environments
* You have strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
* You are interested in immersive technologies, healthcare applications or surgical simulations
* You possess good communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team
Personal competencies
* You have a proactive, results-oriented and customer-centric personality with analytical and problem-solving skills
* You work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, encourage collaboration, also virtual one and mutual support
* You are self-motivated and you have a hands-on mentality
* You have a passion for data driven design and a desire to continuously learn and grow

* You communicate professionally in English and German
