Your responsibilities Maintenance and development of our in-house MES (manufacturing execution system) that is running in 9 separate instances and coordinating the manufacturing process between the company-wide SAP systems and the process control systems of the local manufacturing facilities, Implementation of bigger projects for several months in Scrum teams, Implementation of smaller changes in product-related Kanban teams, Participation in daily standup meetings, weekly refinements or reviews, Code reviews, automated tests and documentation as part of our QA process, Backend development uses an in-house framework that is based on Java EE. Integration of new web-based user interfaces uses REST, Technologies being used: Backend: Oracle DB, JavaEE application server (currently Weblogic, migration to OpenLiberty planned), EclipseLink, JMS, REST. Frontend: Eclipse RCP, Angular, Android (Kotlin). Development: Maven, Tycho, Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), SonarQube, JUnit, AsciiDoc. Your profile 5 years'+ of relevant work experience, Hands on experience in developing web-based applications, Strong knowledge of: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 / CSS3, REST, Following knowledge would be an advantage: JavaEE application server (currently Weblogic, migration to OpenLiberty planned), EclipseLink, Eclipse RCP, Android (Kotlin), Maven, Tycho, Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), SonarQube, JUnit, AsciiDoc, Working in Visual Studio Code would be a benefit, Pragmatic, solution-oriented working style, Analytical and abstract thinking, Fluent written and spoken English, German language will be an asset.
