Story so far
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: The main task of the CoP Lead (Conformity of Production) is to setup, keep up to date and align the planning of tests to be executed within a calendar year as well as ensure the clear definition of requirements to all interfaces. This encompasses monitoring and assessing that that the activities done within CoP be representative in assessing that all vehicles manufactured in series all comply with the regulations as validated during the homologation phase in the type approval for all markets, all car lines and model years.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Help design robust processes for the randomising of picks of cars/partial builds and automate the logistics’ processes
• Monitor all evolutions of regulations listed in the type approvals from all car lines and reflect these into the actualised test plan
• Define, setup and maintain procedures specifying all information needed for a successful implementation of tests (information to be submitted, execution and expected deliverables)
• Support the update of tests in line with the introduction of new model years or car line
• Risk assess any upcoming issue, define and initiate corresponding necessary countermeasures, escalate if necessary (in case of test results being negative or safety being at stakes)
• Actively participate to the alignment of the CoP Test plan with all concerned stakeholders (ENG, VC, Prod, LOG,…) cross-functionally. The definition of intended test plan as well as targeted vehicles/partial builds, in order to fulfil the requirements of all intended markets is a crucial step
• Support the fully comprehensive implementation and monitoring of testing activities to comply with regulatory requirements (CoP-P and CoP-Q)
• Setup the yearly test plan linked to the activities of CoP (including all its aspects, taking into account the risk assessment linked to all decisions)
• Manage activities around the implementation of all tests listed in the CoP test plan
• Supervise the timely delivery of all tests to be executed
• Collect all test reports and generate CoP reports
• Ensure a competent analysis of test reports’ content is being done
What we are looking for:
• an academic degree, if possible, with an initial Quality oriented background or additional training, hence familiar with CoP related topics (regulations, testing procedures, functional safety, cybersecurity, software management,… )
• 3-5 years’ experience gained at either a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or automotive OEM in fields close to the domain of activity of CoP
• an excellent command of German and English are compulsory, French being a plus.
• the ability to think analytically, prioritise tasks and have effective time management.
• a strong communicator mindset, team spirit, moderator skills and be empathetic yet still convincing
• A Project Management and/or change management certification is advantageous
• Strong project leadership skills
• Strong attention to details and technicalities
• Excellent organizational, technical skills and result orientation
• An outgoing and confident disposition with excellent team working and networking skills with peers, managers, and external contacts
• Willingness to travel for business trips
