Hauptaufgaben
Assists in the development of plans and policies requiring analysis of interrelated issues of effectiveness of TLSC-E programs. Gathers information and develops recommendations to resolve existing problems. In coordination with Logistics Management Specialists identifies information needed for the evaluation of logistics operations. Regularly contacts activities to obtain necessary data. Analyzes aspects to be considered for program changes. Identifies problem areas, evaluates the effects of proposed alternative actions to logistics readiness through analysis of data on hand or submitted from functional areas. Makes recommendations to supervisor/team leader for implementation of plans and the development of policies regarding logistics programs. Supports supervisor/co-workers by performing special studies of problems and issues related to segments of the overall program, identifies problems and makes recommendations to the supervisor.
Prepares and/or initiates a variety of reports conducted within the various activities of the TLSC-E Directorate of Logistics Operations. Controls and consolidates statistical reports and maintains necessary records in an automated system requiring the use of one or more of the following: word processing, spreadsheet, database, project management, graphic design, and management information systems. Uses data gathering and surveying techniques and precedent studies for gathering of statistical information to assist in developing long range plans and annual work plans. Observes operations and conducts surveys to identify problems in procedures, program guidance and directives as they apply. Informs supervisor/co-workers of the findings and makes recommendations for improvement of operations. Reviews inspection reports for completeness and accuracy of reported information before submission to higher echelon. Identifies problems and initiates corrective action. Disseminates general administrative and program guidance to functional staff and provides clarification as necessary.
Provides administrative services to TLSC-E Directorate of Logistics Operations. Participates in staff assistance visits and inspections. Participates in a variety of analyses to identify new requirements and redundancy of functions and to increase efficiency of the Directorate. Recommends solutions to management problems arising from changes in work which have an impact on jobs and employees. Assists the supervisor in solving of personnel problems of various kinds by researching issue and obtaining necessary regulatory information from subject matter specialists.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-5a:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 2 years of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 2 years of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III: 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level IV: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled. The amount of the higher level experience must be in a reasonable relation to the required total number of years.
• Office automation skills are required.
• German driver's license class B desired.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.

• If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
