Your Tasks
1. Develop and maintain the project schedule by integrating inputs from all functions, units, and third parties contributing to the project.
2. Serve as a key member of the project team, providing schedule status updates to the Project Manager and other project members (Chief Project Engineer, Lead Engineer, Sourcing Manager and Site Manager).
3. Communicate schedule status to the Project Manager, Function Responsible, suppliers and third parties.
4. Conduct schedule analysis to identify project risks and opportunities and collaborate with the project team to implement risk mitigation strategies.
5. Provide look-ahead, backlog, and future late reporting with prioritizations to clearly communicate potential and real risks, driving project priorities.
6. Ensure contractually required customer reporting is completed and communicate directly with customers on scheduling matters.
7. Prepare critical path analyses and work with multiple critical and near-critical paths.
8. Generate "what-if" scenarios to optimize execution and collaborate with project teams to evaluate feasibility.
9. Align with the cost-controlling function to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule for accurate project execution.
10. Organize and lead timely Planning Reviews with the project team to address schedule issues and define/validate mitigation plans.
11. Prepare delay analyses to support the creation of EOT claims.
Your Profile
12. Degree in engineering or a comparable field, with several years of professional experience in planning and/or controlling.
13. At least 7 years of experience in project planning as part of a project team.
14. Proficient in applying planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress and OTD).
15. Experience with planning tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera, including interfaces with cost control and workload management.
16. Proactive communication and problem-solving attitude, strong team spirit, critical analysis of available data, rigor and transparency and the ability to contribute to decision-making processes.
