Your mission Join Raith’s system development team in bringing unique liquid metal alloy ion sources (LMAIS) to our FIB customers worldwide Be responsible for the development of new LMAIS, including alloy design, emitter geometry optimization and operation parameter tuning Characterize the novel FIB sources with respect to emission current, lifetime and stability. Perform design of experiments (DOE) to optimize these parameters Work out reliable manufacturing & testing processes and transfer the gained know how to the production department Your Qualifications Masters degree in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or related field Minimum three years hands-on experience in the field of LMAIS / FIB emitter design A passion for technology development and systematic problem solving within a team Experience in transferring technologies from R&D to production Exceptional team working and communication skills Self-motivated, results-driven attitude Fluent in English, German language is a plus Why us?
