We are searching for a new Supply Chain Leader for this client; rated as on of the top employers on the German market. The role will take ownership for the end-to-end SC function for the DACH region, and collaborate closely with the wider organisation globally. The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience leading transformation/change management projects.
Position Responsibilities:
* End-to-End leadership for the DACH Region
* Manage all employees across the Planning, Purchasing, Logistics Operations and Customer Service Functions
* Ensure highly efficient inventory management, production scheduling and operation processes to meet customer requirements
* Creation and implementation of new Metrics/KPI Dashboard to increase production efficiency
* Develop robustness/agility in the Supply Chain to combat material shortages and unforeseen production constraints
* Responsibility for the growth of the Supply Chain team - Lead the development & mentoring of employees + Identification of external hiring needs
* Oversee Purchasing Process & Supplier Performance Management to ensure quality and efficiency of inbound materials
* Champion continuous improvement and lean methodologies across the Supply Chain
Experience Required:
* Several years Supply Chain experience in a global organization
* Proven track-record in a leadership role, with multiple direct reports
* Strong communication ability; capable of managing several stakeholder within a matrix environment
* Very good analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
* Fluency in German and English
