In this context, we are looking for a VIE as Engineering Support (f/m/d) based at our offices in Berlin / Germany for 24 months.
Your mission:
Reporting to the Domain Leader Certification & Authorization, you support the project and tender teams in project and engineering activities such as:
Documentation:
Support to Alstom documentation activities:
* Technical documents translation
* Preparation of templates
* Documentation database management
System Design
* Analysis of specifications
* Presentation of the customer need to the competence center in Belgium
* Definition of required evolutions of Alstom products
* Presentation of the Alstom solution to the customer
* Formalization of the result in a technical specification
* Analysis and monitoring of failures during operation
Validation, Certification and authorization
* Definition of test plan, organization of test session, redaction of test report
* Analysis of homologation requirements
* Review of assessments
Administration:
Support to the Project and Engineering team:
* Administrative and technical support to the Engineering Director
* Schedule managing, communications and follow-up tasks efficiently
* Bring forth creative ideas and innovative solutions to enhane team productivity and project outcomes
* Conduct thorough research on rail signaling solutions, software, and other technical tools, making weel-informed recommendations
* Meeting coordination and communication with vendors and stakeholders
Your profile :
* Educated to Master Degree with a specialization in Engineering or similar with a good industrial comprehension, you have a first experience ideally in an international industrial environment.
* You are interested in railway products. Good communication skills, your diplomacy and tenacity, your open-mindedness enables you to be well integrated in a changing project environment.
* Your autonomy, team spirit, management and organizational skills, and good business sense are your key assets for this position.
* Good language level of English & German is mandatory, French will be an asset.
* Excellent MS office skills
* Team player with ability to work in an international environment and with different cultures
* Strong customer and service-oriented mindset

Details of the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) programme:
Assignments are open for citizens of European Union countries between 18 and 28 years, who have fulfilled the military service obligations of their country;
A VIE assignment will be in a country other than that of the applicant;
Set up by public sector statute in France, managed by the BusinessFrance organisation;
Assignment lasts from six to 24 months, renewable once within a cumulative limit of 24 months;
Compensation (non-taxable) linked to the cost of living index and set by BusinessFrance according to the destination country;
International social protection is extended to eligible parties; 2.5 days of holiday per month
