About the Role
We are committed to providing strong support for our learners and fostering community building and networking within our programs. To help us deliver on this mission, we’re looking for someone to join our team in the role of Community Manager & Program Support. In this role you will join our Programs team, and report to Fabienne our Head of Programs. You will be responsible for developing and executing community and student support strategies together with our Working Student, such as managing community interactions, and organizing engagement initiatives within and outside of Kiron’s programs.
Your Tasks
Student Support
* Oversee and handle student support tasks, steer the admissions process for new learners on Kiron campus
* Manage Kiron’s Learners Newsletter, including content curation
* Oversee knowledge management in the help center
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to generate data-driven insights and student’s KPIs
Community Building & Engagement
* Develop and implement community strategies that ensure an engaging and supportive learning environment
* Expand and integrate the Student Advisory Board into our programs to enhance student representation and feedback
* Collaborate with our engineering team to improve our product and learner experience
Support Program Activities, e.g.
* Develop strategies for community and student events as well as implement the actual events
* Setup and manage digital community groups
* Support community management, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to engagement strategies for program delivery in collaboration with Program Managers
* Support with participants' recruitment and learners’ communication
Your Profile
Essential Experience
* You have a track record of building and maintaining engaged communities.
* In previous roles, you’ve successfully developed and implemented community engagement strategies and formats.
* You’ve already gained some experience in developing and managing networking activities, such as online and offline events.
Skills & Competencies
* With your knowledge of community management as well as your cultural sensitivity you know how to design and create community formats that engage a diverse target group.
* You are a well versed project manager, capable of handling parallel work streams and collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders.
* Being a strong communicator, you are able to develop and implement inclusive and accessible communication formats and guidelines.
* You know how to work with data in community management and base your decision making on the relevant KPIs.
* You are skilled in working with digital tools (ideally Zendesk) and generally tech-savvy which helps you to find scalable and efficient solutions.
* You have excellent English, both written and spoken and good German language skills (level B2)
* Some things would make you stand out as a candidate for this role: previous experience in working with LMS and in the Edtech sector, as well as previous work related touchpoints with our target group.
