Global Sales Director - Corporate and M&E (M/F/D)

Your Role
As the Global Sales Director, you will drive revenue growth and market share expansion across key accounts, focusing on both corporate and meetings/events segments. You will be responsible for building long-term, value-based customer relationships and achieving key performance indicators through proactive selling and strategic account management.
The role is based in Frankfurt, Germany, or London, England and reports to the Director - Corporate and M&E HSF EAME.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Account Management: Work on existing account portfolio and accurately qualify potential accounts, target new accounts, and prospect for new business opportunities in dedicated regions. Establish and maintain comprehensive account information, including needs, history, and strategies.
* Revenue Generation: Support data gathering and reporting, identify key purchase points and decision-makers, and network with account teams to maximize revenue streams. Partner with HQ for pricing processes and RFPs.
* Value Creation: Anticipate opportunities to build customer satisfaction, deliver value-added products and services, and establish relationships with key buying influences. Create customer events, participate in international trade shows.
* Global RFP Management: Handle corporate travel RFPs and convert M&E leads from end-user accounts and third parties.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor monthly results, present direct reports, and achieve semi-annual quotas while maintaining travel expenses within budget.
Qualifications
Your Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
* A relevant degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in proactive sales or event management within the hospitality industry.
* Fluency in English/German is essential; proficiency in German, Spanish, or French is a plus.
* A willingness to travel extensively throughout the year.
* Results-oriented with the ability to identify priorities, solve problems, and achieve desired results.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across functions.
* Effective communication skills to listen actively and influence others.
* Self-motivated, high energy, results-oriented, tenacious, reliable, methodical, innovative, focused, and driven.
* Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Customer-focused with the ability to identify needs and add value to relationships.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM systems, Cvent Lanyon, Cvent and various sales and analytics tools (e.g., Agency 360).
