As Principal Delivery Management 1.To provide the best possible customer experience across the entire mobility journey by offering extended infotainment systems and functionalities combined with services for connected cars within a data-driven automotive ecosystem, no matter what brand or product they choose.WHAT YOU WILL DO Plan, coordinate, and control development teams at the IIX level to ensure timely delivery within time, quality, and budget across all release clusters of the End-to-End Architecture 1.2Oversee technical scheduling, maturity planning, and release management, ensuring on-time implementation and approval of sub-systemsResolve conflicting goals regarding content, technology, and timelines within sub-systems, ensuring smooth executionTrack and manage the maturity levels of ECU integration, function ramp-up, cross-sectional technologies, and requirements implementationIdentify, prioritize, and mitigate technical risks and errors at the solution/sub-system level, escalating critical issues to Solution Leads within IIX or to relevant CARIAD Tech Center Leads as neededEnsure adherence to project framework conditions for sub-system development, including allocated resources and supplier capacitiesConfirm and prioritize Delivery Unit portfolio content to align with project goals and technical feasibilityTrack the release readiness of products for specific compound or cluster releases and ensure the execution of all release artifacts within the IIX scopeWHO YOU ARE University degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related disciplineProven (senior) leadership experience delivering complex Infotainment software and hardware solutions, ideally within a multi-brand contextIn-depth understanding of the automotive infotainment landscape; Android OS and Applications, Linux, Embedded systems, vehicle networking and AIStrong analytical and communication skills as well as organizational skillsDemonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to quickly solve complex issuesExperience in agile development (SAFe is a plus)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and EnglishNICE TO KNOW Remote work optionsTemporary work from abroad in selected countriesFlextime / optional working hoursCompany pension planAnnual professional developmentSabbatical option up to 6 months30 days paid + 10 days unpaid leavePossibility for VW Group car leasingIf you have further questions about the candidate journey at CARIAD, please contact us: careers@cariad.
