How you can contribute to HeyJobs Data Protection Law Expertise: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, manage internal and external documentation, and guarantee that our products meet legal standards. Commercial and Sales Support: Develop modern, automated contract templates and assist the sales team by setting legal boundaries for contract negotiations. Legal Advisory: Serve as the primary legal contact within HeyJobs and stakeholder across the company, handling a broad range of issues including labor law, intellectual property, and both domestic and international legal matters. Process Optimization: From your first day, focus on enhancing the efficiency of the legal department through process improvement, automation, and innovative tools. What sets you up for success Legal Qualifications: Must have completed the 1st state exam in German law. Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a corporate setting, ideally within a startup environment, with a strong background in data protection law. Communication Skills: Excellent ability to articulate legal concepts clearly in both German and English. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to pragmatically assess risks, making you a key decision-maker within the company. Team Collaboration: You are an eager self-starter who thrives in cross-team collaboration. Fluent command of the German and English language is required. Bonus Skills: 2nd State Exam: Highly advantageous.
