About the Role: For our European Accounting Shared Service Centre we are looking for support in Accounting, in the area of Bank Administration. This position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn near Munich, Germany, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs. Responsibilities: Check and posting all incoming and outgoing payments for our European companies Post payments in the ERP system in compliance with operational, legal and tax regulations Preparation and execution of direct debit postings Monitor and reconciling accounts Clarify possible differences in collaboration with the various departments Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Required Qualifications: Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk, office clerk, industrial clerk, wholesale and retail clerk or similar Good basic accounting knowledge or initial professional experience in accounting is desirable Experience in working with ERP systems and process thinking Personal responsibility and initiative, conscientious and independent way of working Good understanding of numbers and analytical thinking Ability to work in a team and reliability Good English skills Desired Qualifications: Experience with SAP Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore ’ s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
