Developer (m/f/n) Department: Creos IT | Location: Luxembourg | Contract: Permanent | Job Requisition N19502 Your tasks You design, develop, and maintain Java based microservices for our national energy data platform You collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust software solutions You implement RESTful APIs to enable seamless data integration and communication between services You ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards You participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers You debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and stability You contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools You stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our platform Your profile You hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field You have at least 4 years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on microservices architecture Strong proficiency in Java development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot You have experience with RESTful API design and development Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modelling Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Agile mindset, strong communication skills and team player mentality, as well as enjoy building knowledge and developing talent You are result oriented, have excellent problem solving skills and a keen eye for details You are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, agile environment Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
