We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Germany. You will be responsible for strengthening and developing the business for Thermon in the Northern part of Germany. The customer base reaches from North Ruhr area to Hannover, Hamburg, and Berlin. The customer mix typically consists of end users, Engineering Contractors, Installation/Insulation Contractors, system integrators, and Distributors. Importantly, the majority of time will be customer-facing and involve site visits. The Sales Manager will drive sales of Thermon Heat Trace products, develop and maintain strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Acquire and develop new customers and key accounts. Conduct customer analysis to identify potential opportunities. Develop plans to maximize sales of Thermon products and solutions. Communicate technical solutions to customers. Promote Thermon's philosophy through various channels. Maintain and develop long-term customer relationships. Manage customer expectations and enhance their experience. Conduct negotiations and assist in preparing quotations and contracts. Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Prepare regular sales reports for management. Qualifications: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to create and maintain sales contacts on all levels. Ability to manage the sales process and interact with technical sales support. Responsible for quotations and pricing, with support from a back-office team. Strong commercial skills and technical background. Fluent in both English and German. Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) capabilities. Independent, self-motivated, team player. Effective communication skills at all levels, internal and external. Strong leadership skills. Commercial background (graduate degree in engineering, commerce) with experience in a technical environment. At least five years of work experience in a technical and/or industrial sector.
