This position will be starting October 2021 and initially be limited for 2 years. Field of activity Eurex Securities Transactions Services GmbH develops service offerings for market participants improving and optimizing settlement services particularly regarding new, revised or increased, regulatory standards. This particularly includes mandatory buy-ins for not settled securities transactions after a predetermined time elapsed following the intended settlement day. As part of our service offering we will purchase securities and deliver directly and immediately to the receiving party. As such the team will be engaged in the market on a daily-basis in highly standardized auctions. Tasks/responsibilities Responsibility for the company’s budget plan and the monitoring of costs and revenues Management and support of internal and external audits Management of outsourcing activities, including KPI monitoring Implementation of policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements Preparation of management decisions and management reports Close interaction with the internal departments such as compliance, audit, accounting, as well as with and external auditors and regulators Qualifications/required skills University degree in economics or business administration and/or a comparable education Strong conceptual skills and practical expertise in the financial sector Strong analytical skills, communication skills and in-depth understanding of capital markets and the regulatory framework High commitment, motivation and entrepreneurial spirit Proficiency in written and spoken Englisch and German
