Company Description As a Junior Operational Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement operations by managing supplier relationships, overseeing compliance, and optimizing procurement processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier data, facilitating vendor onboarding, and supporting supply chain mapping initiatives. Additionally, you will lead e-sourcing events in Ariba, conduct cost analyses, and contribute to sustainability efforts through Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) analysis. Your work will directly support the Procurement team in making data-driven decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing supplier collaboration to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Job Description COMPLIANCE & DOCUMENTATION Ensuring legal compliance is a crucial part of this role. You will oversee legal documentation checks and approvals, making sure all procurement processes adhere to external requirements and internal policies. VENDOR MANAGEMENT You will take the lead in managing the Ariba vendor registration process for raw material suppliers, ensuring smooth onboarding through proactive follow-ups. Maintaining data accuracy and consistency is essential, as you will focus on verifying supplier and material-specific information to support procurement efficiency. SUPPLY CHAIN MAPPING Supporting supply chain mapping initiatives will be a key responsibility. You will collaborate closely with Co-Packer and Packaging teams to enhance integration and ensure accurate mapping of supply networks, contributing to better transparency and risk management. RFX EVENTS In this role, you will manage procurement events within Ariba, including Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes. You will be responsible for setting up and overseeing these events, ensuring a structured and efficient approach to supplier selection and negotiations. COST ANALYSIS You will conduct detailed cost analyses, correlating volume usage with market price indexes to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will assist in Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) analysis by providing accurate and relevant data insights, contributing to the company's sustainability goals. PORTFOLIO & SUPPLIER COMMUNICATION Leading supplier communication efforts, you will manage ad-hoc projects such as risk assessments and PCF data collection. Your ability to gather, analyze, and present supplier-related data will play a key role in optimizing procurement strategies and ensuring alignment with company objectives. Qualifications Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field. 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management; experience in the FMCG sector is a plus. Experience with procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP) and data analysis is preferred. Advanced MS Excel skills. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Attention to detail. Additional Information Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2471 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
