Hauptaufgaben
Maintains the CIF Property Book to reflect all items of OCIE (Cooks' Whites, flight gear, helmets, sleeping bags, wet weather gear, etc.) received, issued, or disposed of.
- Reviews issue, receipt/turn-in and disposal documents from issue points and examines for compliance with governing regulations and consolidates data. Reviews authorization documents for item authorization; if necessary, requests approval and prepares justifications. Reviews stockage levels and recommends adjustments when necessary. Maintains a register of transaction documents, and makes necessary postings to the property accountability records. Explains work requirements, methods and procedures; orients and provides guidance to issue point and other supply clerks assigned to the organization as well as to customers.
- Creates Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) records for approximately 3500 personnel by unit or staff assignment. Plans, organizes, and conducts periodic inventories reporting results and discrepancies to the CIF manager. Issues OCIE to newly assigned personnel. Ensures proper fit and posts individual's records accordingly. Receives turn-ins from departing personnel and clears them from their responsibility and accountability of equipment. Inspects turned-in items for serviceability, and determines whether items are unserviceable through fair wear and tear or damaged through neglect of individual. If damaged through neglect prepares necessary documentation to inform the individual's Commander of the neglect and to recommend necessary action. Requires individuals whose OCIE was damaged through neglect to provide appropriate adjustment documents. Determines the serviceability of clothing and equipment according to established standards in technical manuals or supply bulletins.

Reconciles discrepancies by reviewing the property book postings with transaction documents for errors. If no errors are found, initiates turn-in slips to adjust excess quantities or prepares administrative or inventory adjustment reports to correct discrepancies. Performs weekly line-item inventories to ensure the correctness and accountability of the CIF Property Book. Performs a combination of tasks, such as: receipt, storage, issue, direct exchange, and classification of (OCIE). Processes Statement of Charges/Cash Collection Vouchers (SC/CCVs), Financial Liability of Property Loss Investigations (FLIPLs), and hand receipts. Examines and inventories items received by shipment. Utilizes the Installation Support Module (ISM) computer-based system to perform such actions as initial issue, partial issue, direct exchange, SC/CCVs, and turn in of OCIE. Operates a cargo truck and forklift to transport equipment in supplies.
- Receives and signs for incoming deliveries and shipments for Property Management. Assist as required with the unloading of deliveries and shipments. Reviews receiving, inspection and other reports/issue documents and makes sure the quantity received agrees with quantity recorded on the receipt document, reflecting any receiving discrepancies as quantity and receipt of incomplete and damaged material on the receipt document. Reports inventory discrepancies to the PBO and CIF Manager and assist them in the investigation of the discrepancies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-4a:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below.
E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
• Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift operator license.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level C2 AND German Language Proficiency level B2 required.
