The Hatch Project Controls Group is a global practice providing project controls expertise to Hatch's commodity-based business units. Our capability spans through the whole project lifecycle, comprising scoping, conceptual design, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, construction and project management.
We are current seeking Experienced Project Controls Manager to deliver project controls on high complexity capital projects. These roles will suit candidates with strong experience in engineering consulting and EPCM projects in the metals, energy or infrastructure sectors.
Key responsibilities:
Safety
* A strong personal commitment to safety
* Personal responsibility for safety incident reporting
* Behavioral-based safety ethos to be embraced
* Personal responsibility for stopping any unsafe behavior as and when it occurs, and thereafter reporting the safety incident so that corrective action may be obtained
* Familiarization with Hatch safety processes, protocols and procedures.
Project Controls responsibilities
* Ensuring scope, cost, risk and schedule are aligned, and analyse performance data to provide to support management decisions.
* Coaching clients and project controls team on performance and reporting management processes and best practices.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining project Baseline and tracking progress based on earned value management
* Provide progress reports in accordance with the project reporting calendar, including resource histograms, progress curves and current versus baseline comparisons
* Manage the change process throughout the project life cycle
Qualifications and Experience:
* 8+ years in Project Controls or Project Management discipline
* Demonstrated experience in Project Controls (Planning, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management or Reporting) in the field of engineering and construction for complex project/programme environment.
* An Engineering degree or equivalent experience or project management organization (PMO)
* Must be able to monitor report and analyse progress measurement and report performance
* Supervisory experience.
