On-Site Search Optimization :
1. Manage and optimize the on-site search experience, including refining search algorithms, implementing redirects, and creating effective synonyms for improved search accuracy.
2. Analyze search data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement to enhance product discoverability.
3. Collaborate with product teams to ensure accurate tagging and categorization for better search results.
Merchandising Strategies:
4. Develop and execute on-site merchandising strategies to maximize sales and customer engagement.
5. Regularly update product assortments on key pages (home, PLPs, category pages) based on data-driven insights and commercial priorities.
6. Partner with cross-functional teams (content, UX, marketing) to align merchandising initiatives with brand campaigns and promotions.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
7. Own the CRO strategy by running A/B tests, analyzing customer behavior, and implementing changes to improve the user journey.
8. Use insights from tools like Google Analytics or Contentsquare to recommend and implement optimizations.
9. Collaborate with the UX/UI team to enhance site usability, improve navigation, and streamline the checkout process.
Performance Reporting & Analysis:
10. Monitor site performance using analytical tools and provide weekly reports on key metrics (conversion rates, bounce rates, click-through rates).
11. Track the effectiveness of merchandising changes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
12. Develop dashboards for real-time tracking of search and merchandising KPIs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
13. Partner closely with marketing, trading, and content teams to ensure alignment across all digital initiatives.
14. Work with tech teams to ensure seamless implementation of technical improvements and issue resolution.
15. Advocate for merchandising and CRO improvements based on customer insights and data-driven recommendations.
You’ll have …
16. 4+ years of experience in e-commerce site merchandising, on-site search optimization, or CRO roles (preferably D2C).
17. strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Contentsquare or similar platforms.
18. experience using on-site search management tools (Algolia, or similar).
19. A/B testing experience and familiarity with testing platforms (AB Tasty, Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize).
20. excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
21. project management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
22. fluent English skills and preferably one other European language (particularly German)
