Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and manage our operations, focusing on improving efficiency, scaling our solutions, and optimizing the delivery of our products and services. The COO will work closely with the CEO to execute the company’s strategic vision and ensure smooth coordination across departments, including technology, hardware, and software. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth execution of projects related to PMS systems, RFID technology, ANPR cameras, automatic barriers, and security reporting systems. Implement strategies that ensure the growth and scalability of our tech-driven parking solutions. Optimize internal processes for both the software and hardware teams, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of parking systems. Technology Integration: Work with the technology and engineering teams to ensure the proper development, deployment, and maintenance of advanced vehicle detection, RFID systems, and security technologies. Ensure the effective implementation of ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems for vehicle management. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and support staff. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging continuous improvement within the teams. Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company's strategic growth plan. Oversee the expansion and scaling of operations in new markets. Financial Management: Manage the company’s operational budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising the quality and integrity of services. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on operational performance. Vendor & Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, vendors, and key clients to ensure smooth delivery of parking management systems. Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role, ideally in a technology-driven environment. Strong background in managing cross-functional teams, including hardware and software departments. In-depth knowledge of PMS systems, RFID technology, ANPR cameras, vehicle detection systems, and security reporting tools. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and technology integration. Experience in scaling operations and managing resources in a high-growth environment. Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Management and Administration Provides general oversight of all activities, manages the day-to-day operations, and assures smooth functioning, and efficient organization. Proven ability to train, grow, and develop leadership teams. Assures program quality and organizational stability through the development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation. Assures a work environment that recruits, retains, and supports quality staff. Assures process for selecting, developing, motivating, and evaluating staff. Specifies accountabilities for management personnel and evaluates performance regularly. The ability to grow the business across multi countries and expand the growth and innovation of the groups products and portfolio. Mission, Policy and Planning Helps the board and investors determine values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals for their remit/region. Helps monitor and evaluate relevancy to the community, its effectiveness, and its results. Keeps the board /investors fully informed on the condition of the group and all the important factors influencing them. Identifies problems and opportunities and addresses them; brings those that are appropriate to the CEO and/or its committees; and facilitates discussion and deliberation. 5. Inform the board/investors and its committees about trends, issues, problems, and activities to facilitate policymaking. Recommend policy positions. Legal Compliance Assures the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Community Relations Acts as an advocate, within the public and private sectors, for issues relevant to the group and its services Listens to clients/customers/suppliers and the community to improve services and generate community involvement. Serves as chief spokesperson for the group, assuring proper representation of the group to the community. Initiates, develops, and maintains cooperative relationships with key areas & works with regulatory agencies, and represents a healthy relationship. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree. 10 years at Senior executive level within a fast-paced tech company who manage PMS/APS, IOT, ANPR, RFID Devise Management, Vehicle Detection either from PMS companies or the tech development companies. Experience within the German cultures and workplaces. A true leader who has expansion and growth experience within a tech business.
