Position Overview:
As a Strategic Purchaser, you will play a critical role in our procurement strategy by identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with key suppliers. You will ensure the best value for our company by securing high-quality materials and services at competitive prices. Your strategic insights will help shape our procurement policies and drive success to a growing procurement function
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the company's goals.
2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best possible terms for the company.
4. Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of materials.
5. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
6. Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
7. Analyse and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
9. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
10. Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or a similar role.
11. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
13. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
14. Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
15. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
