As an Account Manager, you will be a part of Agilent Technologies' DGG sales team.
In this critical sales role, you will use your expertise and knowledge to handle healthcare diagnostic accounts within the southwest of Germany (parts of Baden-Wuerttemberg/Rhineland-Palatinate/ Saarland/ Hessen).
You will sell genomics and pathology products, instruments, consumables and software solutions for immunohistochemistry, molecular pathology and human genetics and proactively develop and implement a successful sales strategy to exceed quota.
As an integral member of the Sales and Support team, you will use your excellent sales track record to focus on acquiring new customers and growing the existing installed base of customers at all levels within the assigned accounts.
Specifically, this means:
1. Responsible for selling the full range of Agilent DGG products for health care diagnostic accounts
2. Primary point of contact representing Agilent at assigned accounts
3. Generate new opportunities through daily customer interaction at all levels
4. Developing customer relationships and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
5. Drive market share in DGG products, namely target enrichment, sample QC of Nucleic acids and immunohistochemistry
6. Leading projects that require coordinating cross-functional organizations, partnering with other sales and support roles for collaborating with targeted accounts
7. Leading of administrative tasks involving quoting, contracting and tenders and at times support of logistics
Qualifications
8. Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment
9. Excellent interpersonal skills in German and English (written and verbal)
10. You've established a strong background and are looking for new challenges in the health care diagnostic field to make a real difference and impact the field.
11. University Degree or equivalent preferably in Life Sciences would be an asset
12. Willing to travel
13. Driving license required

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
