The Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading strategic alignment, execution, and successful delivery of the IT/Digital portfolio components of a function or business unit. The Portfolio Manager works autonomously and collaborate across teams to ensure that projects align with the company's strategic objectives. Position Snapshot Location: Nestl Mxico Stream: O-CIO Type of Contract: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Assess, prioritize, and continuously monitor portfolio components for strategic alignment, collaborating with senior leadership. Design, adjust, and continually improve portfolio management governance framework for Programs and Projects in collaboration with the Program/Project Management Office. Reinforce the governance framework. Engage with BRM/FRM leaders, Program/Project managers to gain insights into the resource requirements of each project/program. Facilitate effective communication channels to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and make timely and agile portfolio decisions. Provide Function/Business/IT stakeholders with regular reporting and insights, offering full visibility and transparency of the portfolio. Collaborate with stakeholders to align with business objectives, fostering strong communication channels to keep them informed and engaged. Conduct thorough analysis of benefits, costs, schedule and risks to inform agile decision-making and ensure the delivery of intended value in line with strategic objectives. Escalate any critical issues that necessitate senior-level attention Lead as a Portfolio manager Zones between the regions to drive the successful execution of local portfolios base on global guideliness. Regular assessment to ensure that the portfolio of projects aligns with the business strategy. Document how the portfolio contributes to the overall business strategy and objectives. Understanding gaps within the portfolio process and providing recommendations for step-change improvements. Documentation of identified gaps and the resulting recommendations for improvement. Routinely assess current and planned projects/programs to ensure optimum resourcing. Facilitate resolution of capacity issues to deliver the portfolio in line with the business strategic objectives. Regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on portfolio performance and the status of risks and opportunities. Leading local or regional Portfolio management Committes (prioritization, ZLT, Benefits, etc.) Transparency to stakeholders on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities. Value Management Oversight of the portfolio health to ensure expected benefits are realized as planned. Regularly tracking the benefits to ensure that expected benefits are achieved. Regular evaluation to confirm that the portfolio contains the optimal mix of programs/projects. Articulate risks and issues within the portfolios to ensure risk response plans are in place. Documentation of evaluated risks, their potential impact, and the risk response plans. Required Profile: Bachelor?s or Master?s in business administration, project management, finance, administration or a related field. Knowledgeable and Operational experience in managing Projects/Programs/Portfolios. Ability to lead in a team-oriented, matrix, multicultural environment. Strategic planning and value-based project prioritization Navigate and align challenging stakeholders Effectively communicates and connects across organizational boundaries Strong analytical skills and experience translating data to provide insights and recommendations. Previous experience in process implementation/improvement, or business consulting is an advantage BI, Service Now or any PPM tool related experince is a plus Has credentials equivalent to those of a PMI-certified PM Proficiency in English, Spanish/Portuguese
