The Vice President (f/m/d) Procurement & Supplier Management is leading all procurement and supplier activities for Siemens Energy Wind Power Your responsabilities: Procurement: Oversee and lead the strategic sourcing, negotiation, and management of commodities to ensure cost-effective procurement, quality standards, and timely supply to meet the organization's operational needs Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers worldwide to ensure the procurement of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. Manage and drive internal suppliers. Supplier quality management: Manage and oversee supplier quality processes to ensure that all products and services provided by suppliers consistently meet specified standards and contribute to overall production quality and customer satisfaction. Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations to establish favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies. Cost Optimization: Drive, develop and implement cost out strategies and programs to reduce overall procurement costs while maintaining or improving quality and service levels. Drive sustainable material cost savings through design to cost measures and support cost transparency with cost modelling. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with interfaces and stakeholders such as finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes and support overall business efficiency. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and compliance with global standards. Claim Management: oversee claim management processes related to procurement contracts. Define and implement claim prevention strategies, maintain compliance with contractual terms, and safeguard the organization’s financial and operational interests. Talent Management and Leadership : Building and Leading Teams: Leading a diverse global workforce, focusing on recruitment, training, retention, and development of talent to build a high-performance manufacturing team. Drive performance of teams.
