RESPONSIBILITIES
Within our EMEA Pricing team, which is part of the Global Supply Chain Team, you ensure an essential service to our internal processes, Sales colleagues, customers and supply chain departments. This is a strong governance role that requires a compliance gatekeeper to ensure a compliant process from quotation to invoice, all properly documented and vetted.
* Your main task includes to enter and maintain customer prices in SAP, including necessary details to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment of invoices.
* In addition you manage customer discount agreements and ensure timely and accurate invoicing of periodic service payments, royalties and project invoices.
* In this role, you also have the opportunity to improve and standardise business best practices and processes and contribute to the development and deployment of KPIs to measure the quality and efficiency of pricing processes and performance.
* You proactively support projects with regards to business model changes to ensure smooth execution on business process and system accommodation.
* Furthermore you manage and collaborate with our various businesses sales quotes processes especially with respect to different types of surcharges such as metals, energy, freight, packaging as well as index adjustments and sales reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
* bachelor's degree in economics or finance or comparable qualification
* ideally first experience in Supply Chain
* sound experience in SAP and MS Office
* fluent in English, German is a plus
* ability to analyse data for process improvements and independently solving problems
