About this Position
What you´ll do
* Collaborate with our Sustainability Data Team on initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of raw materials and enhance product sustainability
* Conduct research and analyze value chains of key raw materials relevant to Henkel's Consumer Brands business
* Calculate theoretical Product Carbon Footprint values for selected materials and identify major emission drivers
* Assist in identifying opportunities for emission reduction and driving sustainable innovations across material supply chains
* Develop proficiency in applying Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and tools to real-world challenges
* Contribute to linking chemical processes with sustainability metrics to deliver actionable insights
What makes you a good fit
* Student currently pursuing a Master's degree in chemistry, business chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field
* Strong knowledge of organic chemistry and chemical reaction mass balance
* Genuine interest in working on sustainability topics, particularly related to greenhouse gas accounting at the product level, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Familiarity with Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and tools is an advantage
* Excellent research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
* Fluency in English language
* Candidates can apply for a 6-month internship, a Master’s thesis project, or a combined arrangement where the internship may lead to a supervised Master’s thesis

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2095. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
