The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager on the Photoshop Product Marketing team, you will play a meaningful role in contributing to Photoshop’s short- and long-term business goals. We’re looking for a seasoned marketer to input and influence go-to-market, marketing, and product strategies to accelerate our already substantial Photoshop business. You will contribute to our 1- to 3-year business strategy, validate new product and audience opportunities, feed into annual GTM and marketing plans, and drive growth for the business through outbound marketing efforts. This role will be working on global, consumer-facing initiatives that drive consideration, adoption, engagement, and retention of Photoshop across surfaces and audiences, strengthen the creative community, and accelerate profitable growth.
What You’ll Do
* Define the GTM strategy required to propel Photoshop’s growth. This includes mapping out quarterly strategy and completing outbound marketing efforts with partner teams.
* Partner closely with product to deeply understand new and updated features and functionality to advise product marketing strategy, feature prioritization and objectives/important metrics.
* Develop key positioning and messaging for product marketing moments, validated by customers and the community, driving the target audience to take action.
* Partner with broad cross-functional teams to define and complete optimal go-to-market strategy; collaborate with PR/Comms, Marketing Go-to-Market, Community, Social Data Science, Regional teams, Legal and more to deliver value to customers and successfully land integrated marketing moments. Engage deeply on Social to better understand and address customer needs and sentiment drivers.
* Set goals and targets to assess impact of initiatives based on historical benchmarks and/or industry standards, continually striving to optimize and improve.
Skills and Experience
* Product marketing experience. Have a track record of developing and completing impactful product marketing efforts that align to a broader business strategy.
* Exceptional communication skills. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. The ability to distill complex ideas down into digestible bites, and to concisely and confidently present and influence executives, peers, and key decision makers.
* Passionate creator. You have deep experience using Adobe Photoshop features and capabilities and understand the key use cases and workflows, intimately.
* Strategic clarity. Have a strong and data-driven point of view on market opportunities and how to best win new and retain existing Adobe customers.
* Results oriented and data driven. Demonstrates outstanding analytical skills to identify, analyze, and use data to inform strategy and optimize plans.
* Cross-functional influence. You’re a respected team member who can drive and influence key workstreams in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* BA/BS, MBA preferred OR 8+ years of product marketing experience in consumer software technology OR equivalent practical experience.
* Passion for creativity and empowering the creator in all of us.
* A distinctive track record of driving business growth by defining, prioritizing, and leading high impact outbound marketing initiatives.
* Ability to define problems amidst ambiguity, and a bias for action to address them autonomously.
* Experience influencing highly matrixed teams with differing goals and critical metrics.
* Patience and adaptability in dynamic, rapidly shifting environments.
* Global culturalization and localization experience.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $120,700 -- $213,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
