Job Description Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee tax compliance and planning for our German operations, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations. Provide strategic tax advice on complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. Analyze and interpret new tax legislation and its impact on the company's operations. Manage relationships with tax authorities and represent the company in tax audits and disputes. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and provisioning. Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and other tax filings. Identify and implement tax optimization strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities within legal boundaries. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, particularly those affecting the company's operations in Germany and internationally. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field. Professional tax qualification (e.g. Steuerberater). Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate taxation In-depth knowledge of German tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and transfer pricing. Strong understanding of international tax principles and cross-border transactions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
