Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Business Process Management: Manage, optimize, and provide training on global innovation processes within ACTEGA. Maintain and improve a comprehensive system for tracking key innovation metrics and portfolio performance.
2. Innovation Excellence: Work closely with Business Lines and R&D teams to manage and drive projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of innovation within ACTEGA.
3. Digitalization: Lead and/or support implementation for get digitalization projects in the area of innovation (ie lab automation, electronic lab notes).
4. Leadership, project management, and coordination for special high-impact projects within the R&D organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
5. Oversee the management of internal communication channels to ensure effective sharing of information within the R&D community.
6. Foster a culture of innovation by facilitating regular exchanges and collaboration with innovation management departments across divisions of ALTANA.
7. Represent ACTEGA in the ALTANA Institute Core Team and support R&D groups in the submission of research proposals.
8. Identify opportunities for public funding and grants to support R&D initiatives with support through external agencies.
9. Promote transparency and knowledge exchange within the R&D department and across the organization.
10. Close cooperation with internal and external interfaces for the continuous development of the innovation pipeline.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
11. Successfully completed studies with a focus on innovation, innovation management, business administration and/or scientific orientation
12. Several years of prior professional experience in innovation management, project management office or similar field
13. Strong experience in project management and familiarity with different project management tools
14. Strong organizational and analytical skills
15. Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
16. Proficiency with Office 365 Suite or similar
Desired Skills and Knowledge
17. Willingness to build and maintain great working relationships in a global decentralized organization
18. Strong ability to work effectively within a team. Actively contribute to team goals, support colleagues, and foster a cooperative and inclusive work environment.
19. Experience with process design and implementation
20. Strong digital experience including use of programs such as Smartsheet, Jira, Accolade, and/or Power Automate
21. Proficiency with German
