We are currently looking for a Standardisation & Regulatory Affairs Manager (m/f/d) at our Heusenstamm (near Frankfurt a.M.) location for a full-time position as soon as possible. Your Responsibilities: External Representation & Influence in Standardisation Actively participate in standardisation committees, industry working groups, and regulatory forums. Represent the company’s technical and business interests in discussions on new and revised standards. Engage with industry associations and governmental bodies to anticipate regulatory changes and contribute to policymaking. Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including standardisation bodies and regulators. Internal Communication & Impact Assessment Develop and coordinate the international BMI Network of Technical Experts to ensure company representation in all relevant standardisation committees and professional associations. Analyse and interpret new standards and regulations, evaluating their impact on the company's products, operations, and market access. Provide strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders, including R&D, engineering, production, quality, marketing, and legal teams. Deliver training sessions and presentations to ensure awareness and compliance with regulatory developments. Support the legal department in regulatory risk assessments and certification strategies. Regulatory Monitoring & Risk Management Track and monitor upcoming industry regulations and standards to proactively identify risks and opportunities. Develop position papers, internal reports, and guidance documents to support strategic decision-making. Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant industry and product standards globally. Your Profile: Relevant professional experience in standards and certification, preferably in the roofing and waterproofing industry. Experience in managing international teams and leading change management initiatives. Strong communicator, moderator, and presenter. Team player with excellent cultural awareness and collaboration skills. Ability to simplify complex regulatory topics and explain them from a business impact perspective. Practical approach with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders. Willingness to travel. Excellent English language skills; German is preferred.
