Could you be the full-time Maintenance Documentation Manager (f/m/d) in Siegen we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to GOESER Heike and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to:
• Coordinating the creation and delivery of the bogie and drives maintenance documentation.
• Planning the activities for the creation of the maintenance documentation in line with project and customer requirements (e.g., maintenance manual, maintenance procedures, illustrated spare parts catalogue, troubleshooting manual)
• Coordinating retrieval of input data necessary for the creation of the maintenance documentation including sub-supplier input
• Managing internal and external subcontracting to technical writers
• Ensuring information exchange with other engineering functions (design, RAMS, LCC)
• Managing internal / external customer feedback
• Managing maintenance documentation workload and budgets and optimize BCC engineering share
• Ensuring high level of standardisation of technical content to optimize re-use
• Ensuring that Maintenance Documentation is published using Alstom standard Method & Tools (Electronic Catalogue)
• Supporting, implementing and managing projects and innovation processes in terms of maintenance documentation.
• Organizing customer trainings (including planning, coordination of training material preparation, logistic organization) in line with customer requirements
• Managing training evaluation and capitalize Return of Experience

• Engineering Degree and/or qualification as Technical Writer
• Experience in the railway industry beneficial, especially railway vehicle maintenance
• Experience in Technical Publishing
• Sense for coordination
• Strong communication skills and team player
• Business fluent in English and German, French language skills beneficial
• Willingness to travel
