This role will serve as a specialist within Amazon’s reusables’ ecosystem: Implementing plans and tracking them rigorously while assisting in the modeling of the supply chain, building and communicating reports, creating concise analysis, and communicating the daily path forward to internal and external partners. Key areas of responsibility include execution of hub operations, maintenance cycle transportation movements, researching and analyzing issues, participation in pilots, helping create methodology and standard work for the organization, and partnering with stakeholders to build tools and automated reporting. A successful candidate will have a strong blend of an operational execution mindset, project management skills, with an ability to conduct in-depth analyses, think big, and identify strategic opportunities. Key job responsibilities o Implement improvements and execute on plans that feed the overall reusables’ ecosystem. o Identifying issues or concerns in order to facilitate timely resolution and minimize any potential negative impact on the operation. o Establishing effective vendor management processes to improve quality, optimize costs, mitigate risks, and drive innovation and collaboration. o Tracking program performance over time, by comparing key metrics and KPIs against established goals or benchmarks. o Building spreadsheets and tools to analyze data, automate certain tasks and improve productivity. o Leading meetings or contributing solutions and constructive ideas to key stakeholders. About the team Our mission and purpose: Build, implement, and sustain global solutions for Reusable assets in support of Amazon Operations. Basic Qualifications - Experience in program or project management - Experience in supply chain - University Degree or equivalent - Experience with Excel spreadsheets and data analysis - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications experience - Procurement experience Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology - Experience in MS Access and SQL - Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document - Data Analyst or Research Analyst experience - Project coordination experience - Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills - Proven ability to clearly communicate with managers at all levels - Global perspective and solid understanding of business objectives - Excellent attention to detail and work with the highest level of accuracy - Initiative to develop tools, data collection processes, and data management systems Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
