That's us: The Medical Center for Information and Communication Technology (MIK), the central IT service facility with around 200 employees, one of the central facilities at Erlangen University Hospital, provides comprehensive services for the 25 clinics, 18 departments and eight institutes as well as their associated facilities, the commercial administration and the other central facilities. Among other things, MIK is responsible for designing and implementing IT requirements, providing an IT infrastructure geared towards the hospital's business processes and ensuring the comprehensive exchange of information between all involved areas of the university hospital and the Faculty of Medicine.
