In the CORDS (Customer Oriented Reliable Data-Driven Services) team, we are developing a central control logic for a differentiated customer approach that is tailored to the individual needs of customers. We not only lay the foundation for successful data-based customer management by building a high-quality database but also offer comprehensive services for the effective use of this data.
What you do
You will work on a strategic, cross-divisional project within a cross-functional team, utilizing agile project management methods. You'll engage with exciting technologies such as Snowflake, MongoDB, dbt, Glue, Apache Flink, Kafka, Python, Postgres, SQL/NoSQL, Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Kubernetes, and more. In this role, you will gradually take on your own task packages in the area of data engineering, including:
* Developing and implementing scalable data architectures and pipelines
* Monitoring data pipelines to identify and eliminate bottlenecks
* Ensuring data quality and consistency through appropriate management and monitoring tools
What you bring
* As part of your studies, you specialized in informatics or software engineering
* You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills
* You have a basic understanding of Scrum processes
* You have knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Python, Kafka, Java, SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Glue, Dynatrace, Grafana, Jenkins, Terraform, MS Power BI
* You have experience working with databases, ETL processes, and data modeling
* Ideally, you have already gained initial experience with version management (GitHub), CI/CD processes, and infrastructures from hyperscalers, preferably AWS
* You have a good command of German and English and are available immediately for a working student position (16-20 hours per week for at least one year)
