Role Overview:
We are seeking an AI Research Scientist who is passionate about advancing artificial intelligence methodologies
for scientific discovery. This role focuses on developing and experimenting with innovative AI models, such as
transformer architectures, for applications in biology, genomics, and other domains crucial to longevity science.

Key Responsibilities:
* Apply innovative AI methods to develop and implement new AI models for scientific research in the field
* of longevity.
* Develop and test novel machine learning approaches for biological and medical data analysis.
* Create proof-of-concept implementations of theoretical AI approaches.
* Conduct research and development of advanced machine learning techniques and methodologies, with a
* focus on deep learning and transformer neural networks.
* Prototype and experiment with novel ML models and algorithms to explore their potential applications.
* Implement and manage cloud-based machine learning solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, and
* performance.
* Optimize and refactor existing machine learning operations to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability.
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues across cloud-based ML solutions.
* Document workflows, processes, and best practices to facilitate team knowledge sharing and continuous
* improvement.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools in the field of AI/ML.
* Use tools such as Jupyter Notebooks and Google Colab for developing and sharing machine learning
* workflows.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into ongoing projects.
* Publish findings, present research outcomes, and contribute to the scientific community through open-
* source projects or academic papers.
Education:
* Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence or a
* related field.
Experience:
* Proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models, particularly
* in:
* Genomic and biological data analysis.
* Large Language Models (LLMs) and Transformer architectures.
* Proven ability to implement novel AI architectures from research papers.
* Experience with metrics, multimodal data integration, and advanced unsupervised training methods.
* Understanding of experimental design and validation
* Proficiency in Python for machine learning and automation tasks.
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in Python, PyTorch, and Lightning frameworks.
* Expertise in data manipulation tools: Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Sklearn.
* Strong skills in Statistics and Mathematics.
* Familiarity with ML workflow tools such as ClearML, Neptune.ai, Luigi, Docker.
* Knowledge of tools such as FAISS, ONNXRuntime, and version control systems (Git).
* Proficiency with Jupyter Notebooks and Google Colab.
* Deep understanding of machine learning theory and the ability to translate it into experimental models.
