LAB OPERATIONS MANAGER (m/f/d) Role & Responsibilities Manage and develop the laboratory team of Technicians, Research Assistants and Associate Scientists Organize and control all aspects of the laboratory environment, ensuring the timely completion of experiment requests and other research related operations Act as primary contact with respect to experimental support requests coming from other research teams of the company Play an active role in supporting and managing external collaborations and contract research Managing the lab’s daily operations, such as instruments/equipment usage, users’ schedules and supplies required for smooth operations Draft and implement laboratory procedures and relevant documentation Keep up to date with regulatory and safety requirements specific to the laboratory and ensure all users are compliant with those standards and regulations Play a major role in assuring quality of the data management and ensuring traceability and data security Schedule trainings for new lab users and ensure the team works in line with the safety policies Ensure the laboratory operates within budget Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree or PhD (preferred) in biological sciences More than 5-7 years of experience in people, resources and project management Knowledge of relevant quality standards, safety regulations and legal requirements Expertise in data control and document control Experience in reporting, monitoring and resource allocation Expertise in cellular and molecular immunology / cell biology Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices for lab management Skills & Competencies Deliver results and commit to achieve challenging objectives Self-motivated and enthusiastic personality Outstanding written/verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Fluency in English, German is a significant plus Strong influence and assertive skills and ability to work in a matrix organization Ability to lead a team, to inspire the team members and grow them Good hands-on team player, used to working in multifunctional environment Excellent planning & organizational skills Flexibility and can-do attitude with a quality mindset Diversity and Inclusion are part of T-knife’s values at the highest level.
