The (Junior) Manager Business Analysis Biopharma Controlling (m/f/d) will play a critical role in supporting the financial performance of the Biopharmaceuticals business unit and enhancing the financial reporting toolkit. The job scope encompasses supporting the overall business unit financial consolidation process for actuals & forecasting as well as work on analytics and reporting automation. In this role you need to ensure robust and timely financial insights and controlling of the central Biopharma overhead costs and underlying cost centers. Your Assignments: BU Controlling (Actuals & FC) Support the monthly / quarterly consolidation of the management figures of the different Biopharma business areas including reporting variances, leveraging Fresenius Kabi system landscape Collect, challenge and understand variances and business drivers behind the numbers through discussion with financial interfaces in the business areas and develop concise and self-contained summary and analysis for senior management Support the BU’s forecasting & budgeting process including set-up of timetables, review templates and minutes Central Overhead controlling for Biopharma Central Functions Lead the controlling of the central overhead functions of BU Biopharma including monthly/quarterly closing as well as forecast and budgeting including primary and secondary cost planning as well as FTE/personnel cost Analytics & Reporting Automation Build-up of expert knowledge and knowledge sharing within BU for the new Global planning solution SAC and collaborate with project and local teams on new features and additional requirements Partner with the Senior Manager & VP BU Controlling to modernize and automate financial reporting tools and workflows using Power BI and/or other analytics tools Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance or equivalent business degree from an accredited university, Master’s degree is a plus Recent graduate or up to 3 years experience in financial or business analysis, controlling or other finance role, preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry Previous experience with finance & controlling tools (e.g., SAP SAC or other) Previous experience using data analytics & visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar in an industry setting is a plus Strong business acumen and ability to develop data insights combined with passion for new technologies and use cases for finance function & willingness to learn new things Proficiency in MS office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in German and English; additional language capabilities would be an advantage but not required Strong initiative, independent and can-do mindset with positive attitude towards challenges and new tasks
