We are looking for a General Manager with a passion for excellence and a track record of driving growth to lead our Health & Security Subscription Services team in Germany & Austria. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader with exceptional people management skills and proven experience in B2B business, complex solution selling environment to drive the growth of one of the most strategic European businesses of the global leader in Health & Security Risk Solutions.
Key responsibilities
Business Leadership and Strategic Oversight
• Provide effective leadership for the Health & Security Subscription Services (‘H3S’) distribution in Germany and Austria in a manner consistent with International SOS core values, strategy and targets.
• Develop and effectively execute a business & sales strategy for the German & Austrian markets, aligned with H3S business line’s global strategy, that enables revenue growth acceleration and reinforces our leadership position in the market.
• Actively work with Business Development and Marketing Directors to ensure Lead Generation and Thought Leadership efforts are focused on the relevant strategic distribution channels and sales verticals.
• Be directly responsible for H3S Germany and Austria’s Revenue and Gross Profit.
Interact at the C-level with strategic clients and prospects, key influence circles and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership
• Directly manage the German and Austrian sales functions as well as German Security Subject Matter Experts, with active hands-on internal and external engagements to develop and drive new sales acquisitions and retain existing clients.
• Establish a close cooperation with the regional HR team to reinforce talent retention and development while executing the Group’s HR policies in strict compliance with internal guidelines and the local regulation.
Service Delivery
• Develop and maintain an effective interface and partnership with the Head of Assistance in Frankfurt as well as Operations, Medical and Security professionals to ensure client centricity and high quality in the medical and security assistance services delivery.
• Establish a solid relationship with the Group’s Consulting practice to ensure the provision of highly localized advisory solutions relevant to the specific needs of the German and Austrian markets.
• Interact at the C-level with strategic clients and prospects, key influence circles and other external stakeholders.
About you
* Extensive senior management experience involving leadership of a sales team.
* Track record in client-centric roles in a B2B business, complex solution selling environment in service-focused industries.
* Likely industry sectors would include security services, SaaS and IT solutions, complex supply chain, B2B subscription services, or professional services.
* Exceptional Leadership and People Management skills.
* Commercial and Business Development: Extensive sales and business development expertise with proven track record in B2B complex sales.
* Customer-centric attitude with solid experience in client-facing roles in senior capacity.
* Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strategic but with strong operational skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German language.
* Resilient and energetic: High levels of positive energy to set the cultural tone in the organization, paired with resilience and tenacity.
