As Clinical Marketing Manager for our Refractive business, you will work closely with the entire ZEISS Refractive team and other strategic business units to grow the Refractive business of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG.
In this role, you will support targeted outreach to physicians and clinics with clinical content at global marketing touchpoints for refractive workflow solutions. You will develop, define and support global studies to strengthen evidence-based marketing communication based on strategic business objectives.
Your role
1. Develop and define global studies with the Clinical Study Team: create the basis for the growth of the ZEISS ophthalmology business by planning and commissioning strategically relevant patient studies, creating the basis of communication for marketing campaigns.
2. Develop and define clinical marketing packages, including:
Clinical compendium of current studies
Interact with the Professional Education Team to provide and convince customers with up-to-date scientific content on our workflow solutions.
Develop and create clinical marketing content for global customer events.
3. Coordinate the clinical-regulatory process for marketing claim approval: collaborate with product management and clinical-regulatory stakeholders to generate a marketing-driven claim matrix for each product and workflow.
4. Internal and external collaboration: work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the ZEISS Refractive Business marketing strategy
Your profile
5. Successfully completed university degree (e.g. in medical technology, medical science, marketing, business administration) or comparable qualification
6. At least several years of professional experience in the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, clinical research or related industries
7. Excellent knowledge of ophthalmology or related sciences
8. Proven ability to establish and communicate clinical-medical claims and messaging for commercial products
9. Motivating personality who can prioritize and communicate clearly strategic projects and long-term visions in an effective and inspiring way, and can drive alignment within the organization to achieve outstanding team results
10. Very good command of written and spoken German and English languages
11. Willing to travel internationally (10-20%)
