We are seeking a proven, tactical and strategic Regional Sales Director to lead a team of Account Executives who are tasked with generating growth in our mid-market accounts.
Your Impact:
1. Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required.
2. Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training duties.
3. Conducting weekly revenue forecast meetings for respective territories.
4. Coaching and professionally developing Account Executives regarding strategies to drive closure rates and opportunity identification.
5. Reporting on sales activity and revenue forecast.
6. Consistently monitoring and enhancing the sales activities of the team.
7. Developing the Go To Market strategy for the respective territory.
8. Identifying hiring and competency/skills gaps in the Sales team.
Basic Requirements:
1. Strong demonstrated and proven software sales experience.
2. Deep knowledge of how to win new accounts.
3. Demonstrated people management experience of a sales team (min. 5 people).
4. Demonstrated experience of implementing management theories.
5. Solid understanding of what we at Salesforce do.
6. Bachelor’s degree qualified is preferable.
7. Ability to travel EMEA wide when required.
