Responsibilities Bookkeeping Mastery : Manage the bookkeeping for Sidekick ehf. and Sidekick AB, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and financial clarity. Special Project Collaboration : Actively engage in special projects, collaborating seamlessly with fellow finance team members to accomplish critical objectives. Intercompany Oversight : Oversee intercompany reconciliation, ensuring that intra-company transactions adhere to the group's established transfer pricing framework. Account Reconciliations : Conduct regular reconciliations for critical accounts, including salaries, salary-related expenses, accounts payables, and accounts receivables, ensuring financial accuracy. Invoicing and revenue recognition for ongoing projects. VAT Reporting and Reconciliation : Manage VAT reporting and reconciliation for SKH ehf and SKH AB, guaranteeing compliance with tax regulations. Asset and Depreciation Oversight : Maintain up-to-date asset lists and depreciation reports for SKH ehf and SKH AB, preserving accurate records of company assets. Audit Facilitation : Provide auditors with requested data and information, maintaining a high standard of documentation, and ensuring a smooth audit process. People Management: Lead a small team of accountants. Ad Hoc Accounting Tasks : Tackle various ad hoc accounting tasks with precision and diligence, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times. Group Entity Accounting Assistance : Extend your expertise to assist in the accounting processes for other entities within our Group when required, maintaining consistency and alignment. Lead initiatives aimed at improving and automating accounting processes Must haves Bring substantial and successful work experience as an Accountant to the role, showcasing your proficiency in financial calculations. Proactive attitude. Demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to continuously learn and implement new solutions to enhance our processes in a changing environment. Exhibit a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision work. University degree in Business Administration or a certified bookkeeper with 7 years experience in accounting and settlements Fluency in written and spoken English, along with the ability and desire to manage transactions across multiple entities and currencies within a global company. Proficiency in accounting systems such as Business Central or similar, as well as MS Office/G Suite tools. Bring a customer service approach to working with teammates across the company, fostering positive working relationships.
