The Engineering and Construction business of the Air Liquide Group, builds the Group's production units (mainly air gas separation and hydrogen production units) and also supplies external customers with its portfolio of technologies. Its industrial gas, energy conversion and gas purification solutions enable customers to optimize the use of natural resources. One of E&C's missions is to provide technologies that promote growth for Air Liquide and E&C sales thanks to competitive products, and ensure an optimal balance between our core business activities and new markets. E&C works in close collaboration with the various technological entities of the Group and global business lines and pays particular attention to the development of intellectual property. New roadmaps and a corresponding structuring of development programs have been put in place in order to address both: the new opportunities linked to the energy transition and the competitiveness of our "traditional" solutions These initiatives are mostly funded by the Group and are regularly reviewed with AL Senior Management. The Strategic Innovation manager plays a key role with regards to this mission as he/she will ensure the smooth running of the process and will lead specific strategic tasks which will enrich the development portfolio. As Innovation Manager & PMO, you will have 2 roles: 50% workload on strategic innovation 50% workload on PMO to the VP E&C Sales & Technology and to the Chief Technology Officer More specifically, you will be in charge of : Development Portfolio management: Coordinate Techno Roadmap and Product Roadmap reporting ensuring coherence. Organize and prepare regular reviews with AL Sr management and R&D and the Business Lines. Develop as needed tools to follow TRM and PRM progress, including KPI's, automatic budget reports, templates and follow up on the reporting. Promote the Innovation and Development functions within the E&C organisation and other Group stakeholders. Strategic programs management: Coordinate and assist the establishment of an E&C wide product strategy system. Support the development and follow-up of IP related topics and KPI's. Coordinate work streams as part of global projects as far as relevant for Sales & Technology. As far as required for the initiatives described, organize and animate workshops and programs. Support strategic studies related to new technologies/offers/markets under the supervision of VP Sales & Techno, Chief Technology Officer or ad'hoc steering committees. Understand customer needs and opportunities. Comparing possible process routes or technologies. Identify potential business opportunities. Suggest path(s) forward.
