We are looking for an Inbound Manager (m/f/d) to join our logistics team in Gelsenkirchen. You will have the unique opportunity to grow with us and explore new horizons.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and oversee inbound goods flows.
* Ensure timely receipt, inspection, and storage of deliveries.
* Verify delivery documents for completeness and accuracy.
* Coordinate returns or complaints for defective or damaged goods.
* Analyse and optimize inbound processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Implement and monitor best practices for inbound logistics.
* Collaborate closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth storage operations.
* Coordinate with inventory management for optimal storage space utilization.
* Lead and train the inbound team.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Prepare reports on inbound goods, processing times, and process metrics.
* Analyse deviations and develop improvement measures.
* Implement health and safety standards in the work area and promote a safety culture on-site.
* Achieve productivity goals, reduce per-unit costs, and avoid errors.
* Conduct perpetual inventory counts and manage discrepancies.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of professional and leadership experience in a similar position (e.g., manufacturing, production, or logistics).
* Relevant degree or training in logistics or a related field.
* Fluent communication skills in German and English.
* Detail-oriented, with experience in root cause analysis and data evaluation.
* Passion for process optimization and embracing change as an opportunity for growth.

Salary 50-55K DOE
