This is an outstanding opportunity to join Fresenius Medical Care newly formed Digital Services and Solutions Group as Product Owner. This role will be based in Berlin, Bad Homburg or greater Boston area, MA, US. In this role you own data pipelines of multiple products, the digital data platform and corresponding data-driven digital user journeys. You will collaborate with prospective internal and external users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
Your assignments
1. Work closely with product management, data governance experts and UI/UX to translate market trends and regulatory as well as feature level requirements into executable work incl. acceptance criteria for agile teams.
2. Define technical objectives and scope of the solution together with the software development team(s) while contributing to platform architecture and the overarching digital product data governance initiative.
3. Prioritize the product backlog and manage reporting, controlling and requirements documentation (functional and non-functional). Oversee all stages of product development process for medical and non-medical functionalities.
4. Champion an innovative data analytics strategy in conjunction with other development streams at FMC including data governance.
5. Coordinate cross-functional product teams and orchestrate priorities.
6. Monitor and evaluates progress at each stage of the process.
7. Support in developing market positioning for data-driven products.
Your profile
8. Master in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, (Business) Computer Science, Data Science, Data Management or related engineering disciplines
9. Very good understanding of requirements engineering and methods of agile software development processes/methodology ( SCRUM)
10. Experience in regulated environments with respect to data privacy, security and regulations ( GDPR, HIPAA, MDR etc.)
11. Minimum 5+ years experience, preferably as (senior) product management, program management or product owner
12. Minimum 3+ years demonstrated track record of delivering digital solutions solving user-centric problems
13. Enthusiastic, self-driven, quicker learner with influencing skills
14. Work experience in clinic, hospital settings and/or digital health and innovation environments is a plus
15. Proof of Product Owner Certification is an advantage
16. Proficiency in English is a must have, German is a plus
