What you'll do
* Your task is to create and update cash flow reports & forecasts to ensure liquidity, the top-down creation of LRP targets and the tracking of the company's target achievement
* You'll be responsible for preparing regular reports on the company's short and medium-term financial position for senior finance management, the Sky Group and other stakeholders (including monthly financial statements, reforecast, budget & LRP)
* In addition to carrying out variance analyses between planned and actual cash flow, your day-to-day work will also consist of processing relevant drivers for management & identifying potential for improvement as well as contributing to the development and implementation of processes and systems to optimise cash management
* You'll work closely with various departments such as Commercial Finance, Financial Reporting & Treasury to ensure smooth cash management
* You're the technical expert (m/f/d) for all enquiries relating to the development of operating cash flow and relevant KPIs and act as a sparring partner (m/f/d) for the Commercial Finance department in the creation of business cases to sustainably increase company performance
What you'll bring
* You've a university degree with an economic focus and at least 5-6 years of experience in a similar position in finance/controlling/reporting, ideally in an auditing company
* You've sound knowledge of cash flow planning and reporting, as well as financial planning and analysis
* Your good knowledge of finance and accounting as well as your experience with variance analyses, liquidity planning, financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Anaplan, TM1) sets you apart from others
* Your professional experience has enabled you to acquire basic knowledge of data analysis and the use of reporting tools as well as knowledge of the media and pay-TV market - you've very good commercial knowledge of Sky
* You'd describe yourself as analytical, flexible, resilient and your way of working as structured and solution-orientated - additionally, you've a "can do" mentality
* Above all, communication with various stakeholders and your ability to convey facts and processes in an understandable way are among your strengths
* Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
